XIKERS don't stop

XIKERS' latest release, "We Don't Stop," brings a refreshing twist to the K-pop scene, blending 90s Hip Hop with a Punk edge. Following the footsteps of their previous pop-punk anthem "Do or Die," this title-track showcases a fusion that perfectly aligns with XIKERS' distinct vibe.

Personally, I'm all in for this new sound. Typically, I'd steer clear of choruses lacking an energetic punch, but in this case, it fits seamlessly into the 90s Hip Hop theme.

The song kicks off with a bang, thanks to YECHAN and SUMIN's swagger-filled rap, reminiscent of seasoned veterans. I've always had a soft spot for K-pop groups with a dynamic rap duo – one with swag and the other delivering powerhouse verses. It's a formula that never fails to elevate a track.

The pre-chorus is where "We Don't Stop" truly shines for me. The gradual build-up, intertwined with the guitar and clapping, hits all the right notes. There's something undeniably satisfying about slowing down the pace and adding a touch of clapping to the mix. Maybe it's the combination of JINSIK, SEEUN, and JUNMIN's vocals, or perhaps it's JINSIK's raw strain at the end of the pre-chorus that adds that punk essence to the track.

One of the standout moments comes after the chorus, with the whispering. It's a subtle yet effective touch that infuses the song with cool, laid-back vibes. So, thanks to JUNMIN and YUJUN for bringing that extra flair!! And this element in the post-chorus undoubtedly complements the killer choreography of the song.

Towards the song's ends, we're treated to more rap from SUMIN and MINJAE, leading into a slowdown that amplifies the final chorus's impact and swagger.
